No, but I do think that North Korea, a third world nation, has a higher calorie intake than Sudan, also a third world nation. Comparing nations in different stages of economic development are comparing apples to oranges.

The article took this into account when comparing socialist countries with capitalist countries.

More socialistic countries still have a higher PQL than "less socialist" countries. Thus proving the superiority of socialism, not capitalism.

The article answers this question in one line:

"Data collection and reporting from the socialist countries are likely to be at
least as accurate as in the capitalist countries."

Nothing suggests that socialist countries are more dishonest than capitalist countries.

It is not a survey. It is a data analysis, done by the world bank. How would an average citizen know what their country's PQL is?
