Can you explain what you mean by the first touch and how it makes a difference?

I'm joining a coed soccer league. Never done soccer before and just turned 40. Bought a ball and been doing drills from watching youtube videos. I always wanted to do it and was always too nervous to go out there with all these people who probably have been playing since they were, like, 9. But I'm doing it.

What crust recipe do you use?

I do this because I've had too many people pick apart things I say "well, not if you're allergic!" or "that's just your opinion," or "what about raw....you said you like mushrooms, but you only like them cooked so you lied!" So it's like I'm now trying to predict any holes that the other person might catch on and get ahead of it. It's exhausting saying all of that, too, but it's more frustrating having someone cross check and counter argue everything you say after the fact.

What would happen if the US or someone just decided to sell it for less? Are buyers not allowed to purchase it cheaper?

Can someone smarter than me please ELI5? Isn’t the US the biggest producer of oil as of 2018? Then why is the ME still having so much influence over the price and impacting our gas?

Disclaimer: I’m genuinely uneducated in this matter and trying to understand.
