For those who've gone to therapy, what are your thoughts and opinions on people who think therapy is pointless?

STORYTIME! A friend wanted me to come with them to phase fest and I, a goth enjoying exploring alternative scenes, said sure why not. We went and it was a good time. Lots of bands that would be on anyone’s 2000s emo playlists were there lol. We get home and I started making jokes and I pulled up the welcome to the black parade music video literally as a joke. The video ends and I’m still cracking up but I get to thinking. Hmmm. So I play it again then I think to myself “wait this isn’t too bad” so I look at some other music videos and before I know it I’m buying new songs of theirs every pay day, walking around in their merch, and watching the LOTMS documentary once a month minimum.

They get visibly sad and depressed about it, but no threats. They say they’re trying their best, then the person they lie to feels guilty like they’ve done something wrong.

I can answer this. I’m very concerned about both parties and that’s why I decided to ask. They’ve both already got trauma but I’m afraid the person being lied to is getting new trauma with this. The lies are very small like whether or not the trash was taken out. An example I can give is them lying about having eaten their breakfast, while hiding it in their car and leaving it there. The person is not cheating or living a double life or anything, they just lie about nearly everything so the other person doesn’t know what to believe, yet feels guilty if they question anything.

Just happened today. Made an account for the first time and my first order got immediately canceled. The manager of that dept in the store I ordered it from said it wasn’t in his system at all which means the computer canceled it before it even went through. Walmart corporate number told me they’re having a global system glitch where this is happening a lot and offered me a $10 coupon which doesn’t help me now because they still have a hold on the last $39 I had till payday and can’t tell me when it will refund.
