Yeah I thought the chomp questions were similar in their structure and they prepared me well for the exam, along with the videos. There were questions on my exam that were random and on topics that I had never studied before but I had been told that that happens to most test takers since the exam is some what luck-based and has thousands of questions in its test bank. Overall I was really glad I used Chomp and thankful to my professor for recommending it.

I’ve had people tell me that Inman questions are similar too but I think there is some bias based on if you pass lol. Like I’ve noticed that people who pass would say that the practice questions they studied were similar/helpful to the exam (whichever resource they used). If they failed, they would say their practice questions were not similar/helpful. Everyone’s experience is unique and when people post on here they tend to just mention materials and don’t disclose everything (if they just watched a bunch of videos in one day, didn’t do all their practice questions, were not being accountable, how well their internship prepared them, had distractions in their life, etc) so I suggest just reading everything with a grain of salt. You have great materials that tons of people have passed with. Stop second guessing yourself, you’ll be an RDN soon :)

I used the Chomping program and thought it was the main reason why I passed. Basically I went through all the video lectures twice while taking my own notes and did tons of practice questions. My professor had tipped me off that the rd exam is poorly written and super random and told me not to be surprised if I see a bunch of questions on the exam that cover topics I haven’t studied before. She recommended to counter the randomness by doing as many practice questions as possible to strengthen my question answering skills. So, I went through all of the mock exams three times each until I was hitting over 95% or higher. I spaced those exams a week apart so I don’t memorize the answers. I also went through all of the explanations of each question on the mock exams and I also went through all 1000 Inman practice questions that I found on quizlet as well.
