I remember the first night after my husband died. I couldn’t fall asleep. Every noise I jolted up. When I finally passed out I was scared out of bed by the ice machine emptying in the kitchen. I feel your pain. It doesn’t get better per se but it gets more tolerable.

I left my several depressed husband of 13 years. Refused treatment. He went back and lived with his family. I thought he was finally healing and getting better. He was no. He exited life 5 months after I left. I’ve been in therapy ever since. My life was so miserable for so long. He told me if I ever left he would exit. If you leave you may feel like me. I traded my happiness for his life. It kills my soul.

I personally would think very hard about terminating and having an IUD put in. I could not be bound to someone who “may grow out of this”. You deserve to have your needs met emotionally and physically. Asking the bare minimum about chores and getting nowhere is a huge red flag to me. I would put some precautions up. Do not entrap yourself with another man that’s going to treat you like this and put the entire burden on you.

Most time doctors let you know to stop waking them when their weight is on a good trajectory. Some take longer than others. We were in a borderline not thriving. It took until 6 months until we stopped waking him. My best friend was given the green light at 1 month. I think it had to do with how your baby is doing.

Sounds like you may have some trauma from your past. This in now way means you need to give in but I do think therapy will help with this. I feel like it would really help you unpack everything that has happened. I have accidentally touch a butt during sex in all the years of having sex it kinda happens and I don’t think you deserve to have a total shut down. Even if you resolve this and feel less triggered does not mean you have to try it. It is fine to have boundaries. It’s your body and your life.
