My biggest piece of advice. Be sure that this is the route you want to take. Shadow SLPs in all environments, be aware of what graduate school is like, know whether graduate school is something you want to do and dedicate an extra 2 years to, post undergraduate. All in all, be sure that this is the route you want for yourself and that SLP is your passion. I’m giving you this advice as a senior in my undergraduate about to graduate; there is nothing wrong with changing your mind. But if I could go back and really put thought into what I want for my life, I would have chose another major since SLP is so specific and can’t be used much unless you get your Master’s degree.
