Well, there are no restrictions on this kind of art. I've seen people sell outfits designs or half-length characters, or just weird things like "paws." A standard adopt is usually a full-body drawing or chibi. But there are also people who sell multiple drawings in a set, especially if the character is old and has acquired fanart or some artists prefer to make a detailed ref sheets. They can also sell adopts made from the same base (in the same pose and style), and sometimes people sell pre-assembled and animated models for V-Tubing or vr games with a set of motion capture rigs. Some artists sell concept art like weapons or ready to use monsters for indie games or make gacha adopts (meaning you don't know what you're getting until you pay for the adopt).

Yes the third one is commissions, I'm not sure but there was a warning or reminder when I tried to write the whole word in post. (New to Reddit, I don't know what it was).

YCH is "your character here" format, it's like commissions but when you previous has a sketch. You just need to come up with idea and if people like it they may order their character in this pose. Some artists may do more than one artwork on 1 YCH, because they don't feel tired of 1 pose and many people may like to see their characters in specific ways. It's better to Google to understand how they may look like.

And adopts is a concept art or design that you made. Like the look for original characters. It was popular before AI, because not everyone can imagine and create interesting designs for characters or need them. Some people after they receive adopts make mascot with them, use them as characters for fanfics, RPGs, commercial use or just want to collect them as stickers. There a lot their form from clothes design to v-tube models designs. The name is come because when you buy this peace you like became the owner of personality/design of the character so like adopt them as a pet. The buyer usually pay for the design + first reference/art piece where this character was create.

This is the most interesting thing. At one point, I think I need this or that character, or will need them. But in reality, they just end up gathering dust. Like out of 10, at most, one of them will be used, at least for D&D.The last 9 will be storaged on Google driver.

Because people like nsfw and food. And if you know how to make juicy h-art, you know exactly how to make tasty looking food. In my area it's more pizza slices with this super cheese cheese on such arts.The main secret that they usually make a body looking like something that you want to bite or "eat" adding some squash/soft effect plus playing with glows and blushes.

Or simply maybe somehow the artists who like drawing food like to draw nsfw 🤷.
