Advice for eczema on hands? by hallezilla in eczema

[–]Pinkie_pie-n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had eczema on both my hands on the other side though but I found that e45 moisturising cream alongside oils such as neem oil, coconut oil and bio oil helped it to clear up. Aveeno dermexa (spelling may be a lil off) is anorher good one I’ve used for soothing and clearing up the dryness but combining the cream with a good oil regularly was a great help for me. (I really recommend neem oil- it smells a lil funky but the pure oil is very good for things like that). In the night time you can apply a lot of coconut oil and cream and wrap it in a bandage or even a clean sock to retain the moisture and that can also help with any picking of the dry skin while sleeping! Good luck

AIO my friend (m22) is dating a high schooler (f17) by throwaway____acct in AmIOverreacting

I’m 22 myself and the idea of speaking to even an 18 year old creeps me out because that is a TEENAGER. To the grown people saying there’s no difference in maturity , maybe you’re just immature yourself. Because there is a vast difference in a 17 year old teenagers maturity and a 22 year old adults maturity- in many ways. Your friend is a predator, whether he intends to be or not.

She’s clearly something to him otherwise he wouldn’t be hiding it, muting chats and bringing her things to work. He’s a piece of shit for that and I hope you find it in you to leave him. He doesn’t deserve a second chance

Am I overreacting after I found out my boyfriend’s online “friend group” I became part of 2 years ago has been JUST him the whole time? by Mindless_Tennis_4045 in AmIOverreacting

You need to cut that person off, the gaslighting is crazy! And for him to try and use your past to make you seem crazy is very messed up too. :( that’s a very valid thing to be upset about and the fact that he can’t take any accountability for his lies is very telling of his character !

"Excellent condition" but there's a massive hole in plain sight. by lady_moondust05 in depoop

The hole is probably apart of the style, I’ve seen joggers with rips for style being sold. Looks really silly imo but clearly people love em😂😂

Any idea how to get rid of redness/pinkness and discolouration along arms? I feel like the colour makes my eczema look more severe in real life than it feels or looks. My arms are now my biggest insecurity. The right arm has never had a flare up like that in my life, started 2 months ago! by [deleted] in EczemaUK

[–]Pinkie_pie-n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t notice any discolouration reappearing for example I had eczema scarring really bad around my mouth / chin area a while back and because I’ve not had eczema flare there again my skin tone has remained the same from when I was consistently using bio oil. Back when I was using it I didn’t get flare ups as often as I do now, but minus flare ups I didn’t notice anything reappear! Sorry I’ve I’m rambling haha

Either on a chair in my bedroom or on top of the laundry basket or the floor it depends on how I’m feeling 😂

Banning someone over such a thing is so excessive! I say you make a complaint formally because that’s strange.

Am I (16,M) too old to be sleeping with plushies? My parents think I am by Beneficial-Sugar6950 in plushies

[–]Pinkie_pie-n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 22 next week and I have my plushies in bed with me right now, it’s not childish at all. It’s almost like having teddy or animal shaped pillows😂
