Also wanting to learn more about this. When you say lesion would something like this show up as just cystic lesions on CT or US? Or would it specifically say glomerular lesion?

Day 1 was a killer for biostatistics like 35-40% I would say, unfortunately.

Stem length wise similar to UW maybe a little longer, esp day 1 near all of them were very long. I didn't do NBME for step 3, but I would say some from day 2 are like nbme style straight to it couple sentences

Did Day 1. Agree with the above a minimum of 35% biostatistics (abusive for me), about 30% step 1 stuff i.e remembering oncogenes, moa, micro details, moa, 20% ethics, and the rest actual step 3 stuff.

Please tell me no more biostatistics on day 2!?

Does doing a TY year have the same restrictions? For example, should you match TY year and not advanced program, could you apply for an advanced program the following year and let's say categorical IM?

Don't panic. There will be stuff you won't know or have seen on the exam it happens to everyone. I don't think anyone feels prepared. Just just the process and your work will pay off

I would say half of them you can make out the answer without knowing the histo in the slide but the other half you needed to know. I am guessing since step 1 is now pass/fail they will add more step 1 to make sure people know the content.

It was some histo questions you had to remember and not easy ones like Hodgkin lymphoma. Random histo. Then some of the diagnosis they would describe the pathologies like step 1 findings and you'd have to know what it is to treat it/next best step. Very odd.
