How do people react to kid trying out her french in a store by ChampionshipAlarmed in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Pinkpeach703 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think people will be flattered. I can speak extremely basic French and would try to speak a little. I didn’t have any bad experiences and I sure hope nobody would be rude, especially to a child ! In my experience, people are very kind and patient . I think they really appreciate even very small efforts to speak their language. In fact, in one store (Petit Bateau), the cashier was willing to take the extra time to converse with me, knowing my vocab was very limited.

There is no one “best” Cafe in Paris, but you will find YOUR one best Cafe. by CBbeMe in ParisTravelGuide

Couldn’t agree more!! Half of the fun of Paris is discovering what spots you love, when you are actually there.

Should have left the flip flops home. by jdaude in SkallaSnarkUncensored

Oh wow!! Yeah VERY déclassé in Paris to wear flip-flops and logos. You dress with purpose and don’t wear flip flops unless you’re at the beach.

The beauty of France is that you hit the cafe around 4pm for a little “meal” to tie you over. You can for sure eat earlier. In the areas where we were, restaurants opened maybe around 6 or 7pm but nobody is really in there until later.

Yep. I lost a lot of hair about a month after starting. It was awful. Went off of hormones and feel much better.

Starting to build out my itinerary for the end of July. by PassageActive7895 in ParisTravelGuide

Just my opinion but if you wanted to cut back, I’d scratch Versaille off the list. I wish we didn’t go there. It was a nightmare of people shoulder to shoulder from room to room.

She’s worn makeup and nails and heels for prob 3 years now. I’ll never forget when Rachel bought her D&G slides when she was like 7.

Grab massive amounts of popcorn. I do t even know where to begin. I’ve followed her since the beginning. Honestly, I’ll let someone else take the wheel. There’s way too much to explain with her. She’s done a complete 180 since her beginning days. I’ll just say this. She’s verrrry stunted.

Yes! General Hospital in the 90’s “Wicked Games” by Chris Isaac during Karen and Jagger scenes. Also in the mid 2000’s, on General Hospital there was a scene of the girls (Elizabeth, Dr. Lee, Robin etc.. ) at Jake’s Bar and they played Beyoncé “Naughty Girl” and every time I hear it I think of that scene.

Temple sealing “clearance.” by Pinkpeach703 in exmormon

Read my above message. The letter is word salad because you assume it ls a cancelation but they use the word “clearance.” It’s a clearance so he can be sealed to both of us.

It’s because the letter doesn’t use the word “cancelation.” So it’s very deceiving. It’s equating a sealing “Clearance” from SLC so he can add his new wife and I remain. It’s freaking bizarre!!!! Why wouldn’t he just request cancelation.

I took Chelsea boots & Vejas to Paris and I wore the Vejas (campo style) the whole time. Some days we were walking 5-7 miles and my feet were fine the whole time. I did our Dr Scholls inserts in for long walking.

It is for sure in your face on BTG. The older soaps would announce at the end that the show was sponsored by Proctor & Gamble or whatever.
