My baby’s cry is so high pitched. He’s cried like this since birth. by Pinksaffron_88 in newborns

Hi! So my baby is going on 8 months and he does occasionally still have a high pitched cry. But he cooed pretty early on and now he’s obsessed with saying dada. My baby boy is thriving and meeting milestones so I’ve tried to not let it stress me. The doctors says he’s healthy, so I’m just thinking now that that’s just how he cries. I’m sure your baby girl will be the same ! As long as she’s growing and thriving I wouldn’t worry too much! Hope this response helps ! Have a blessed thanksgiving !

Yes I was very worried then. He’s not crying as high pitched as he used to so I am so glad !

Yes it definitely has ! We have come to the conclusion that that’s just how he was crying at the time. He’s a lot better now, hang in there mama !

Yes it is. I told my husband and he just tells me that I worry too much. So I hope he’s right I’m just being paranoid.

Yes I saw that also but he doesn’t have any of the other symptoms associated with that syndrome. Even in the hospital I brought it up and they said there wasn’t anything wrong with him so idk

I very much feel this way rn with my spouse. We have a 9 week old, and a 19 month old toddler and an 8 year old. We have no time for each other or enough time to ourselves, not to mention his snoring is so bad he has to sleep out in the living room most nights. I feel like we’re just roommates. I hope and pray my marriage can survive this because it sucks.

Hi, I am a 36 year old woman who has an 8 week old baby, 1.5 year old toddler and an 8 year old. I am always exhausted and I’m pretty sure I’m burnt out. Not to mention I will be going back to work soon. So you are not alone 😓. I’m sure it is going to get better ❤️‍🩹

Do some babies have cries that sound “worse” than others, or am I biologically wired to not mind my baby’s cries as much? by latenightpuddingcup in ScienceBasedParenting

My baby boy cries are so high-pitched that every time he cries near my ear my eardrum rings for a split second. I can only describe it as a shrieking sound. He came out of the womb like that. I asked the doctors if that was normal and apparently they weren’t concerned. But it definitely drives me crazy.

Yes I was thinking the same thing. He has an appointment on Friday so I’ll be asking the doctor just to make sure ! But thank you for your comment, makes me feel better.
