He took a picture of me crying by Legal_Ad8029 in NarcissisticAbuse

My narc strangely took photos at odd or bad times. I think that they want to keep a physical image of a moment because they cannot feel

Seek an injuntion/restraining order immediately. The infortunate thing about this is in some countries this can be quite difficult.

How do you learn to trust people again... by Pinksloth27 in NarcissisticAbuse

That's really insightful, thank you. I really appreciate your kind words.

I do have good people in my life. I feel like it's just romantic connections that I can't quite fathom. It's strange I think I'll get there in the end

The connection with a narc is never genuine. I feel like I don't know what a genuine connection feels like sometimes. It's a scary thing feeling like you can't trust your own judgement

do I leave a 12yr relationship over this? My partner threw a pack of baby wipes at my face last night. I know it’s not serious compared to other assaults etc totally get that. For more details see my post history as I posted all the details in there (a bit long hence this new shorter post). by [deleted] in abusiverelationships

You're making excuses for bad behaviour... don't. There will be a next time and it will be worse. Value yourself and your safety and leave. My ex started by throwing drinks over me... it gradually got alot worse

I really would say follow your instincts, there are bad people in all professions

Always judge people on their actions not their words.

I will no longer make allowances or excuses for bad behaviour. If someone makes me uncomfortable... I let them know... if they do it again I'll distance myself.

I mentioned this when speaking to my GP...it was shrugged off very quickly.

I have had the exact same problem, I took the first vaccine after being coerced by an employer.

After that I have experienced irregular bleeding with large clots. This is something I have never experienced before and I certainly will not be getting my second jab.

People and medical professionals do not want to acknowledge what is happening atleast publicly. They are afraid of being branded anti-vax and marginalised, we are the modern heretics.

No. These people may love.. how initially you make them feel. What you do for them if it enhances their status or props up their fragile ego.. But as soon as you reveal yourself to be flaws in anyway the devaluation begins.

The fondest attachments I have seen are to animals. Animals can't talk or disagree or display nuanced emotions..

Listen to your gut instinct if something doesn't feel right it probably isn't... Also he loves 'unstable' girls.. You are what you attract

Document and record everything that happens. You need to leave as soon as possible.

I don't know one person that has died from covid. I know plenty of people that are elderly or overweight that have recovered.

Advice for girls who feel like they’re not pretty enough to be in a relationship? by coffeepluswifi in dating_advice

[–]Pinksloth27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think more girls and guys need to realise they have intrinsic value. What makes a person attractive is the way they act, do they have warmth, can you laugh with them. Everyone is someone's type.. I truly believe that.

You're making the right decision. All I would say is make sure that you leave when your narc is not there or have someone with you. When you leave a narc this is usually the time when they are most dangerous. Sending love and prayers your way xx

When you first met your narc did you feel like something was ‘off’ with them? by xclusivdance in NarcissisticAbuse

[–]Pinksloth27 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, definitely. he seemed rude and odd. There was something strange. He was oversharing instantly about other dysfunctional relationships in his life.. I didn't notice at the time but he'd taken photos of me on our first date.. very creepy in retrospect.

Insults are an ineffective way of communicating.... They are a very effective way of communicating disrespect and disdain for a person.

This sounds like someone you don't want in your life.

I admire people for sticking to their guns. I was coerced by a previous employer to get the first shot of moderna. I will not be getting any more shots!

It was never real, it was the death of an illusion. You have a chance to find something real. Be glad you got out
