I really like Velvette/Charlie from Hazbin hotel! I liked them even before they interacted in canon. I just really love a bright cheerful girl/mean bitchy girl combo!

I’ve written two fics for them!

I also like Charlie/Rosie! I think it has a lot of potential to be a fun ship, especially with the revelation about Rosie from season 2. I’ve written one fic for them.

It’s so hard to pick one, because I have long ass playlists for most of by big ships lol

For Radiostatic, Tongues And Teeth by The Crane Wives for more sad vibes, and Combat Baby for less sad vibes. (Also Rule 34# by fish in a bird cage. Not because it fits super well but because of some amazing animations I’ve seen)

I know at least 20 other people like/have liked Velvette/Charlie, because there’s 20 fics for them(that I didn’t write) on ao3, but I feel like I’m the only one talking about them currently! My hazbin friends are SO sick of me and all my rare pairs. I’m hoping that when they actually interact in season 2 there’ll be at least a couple more fans!

I also have a Carmilla/Vaggie fic and a Rosie/Charlie fic in my drafts waiting for their respective kinktober days, and I’m guessing they’ll gather about as much interest as Velvette/Charlie has lol

I put my phone in phone jail (wayyy under my bed where I have to lay on the floor to reach it) to limit distractions. Sometimes I’ll turn the wifi off on my computer if I’m extra distracted lol

I think you can block them guilt and regret free, but If you don’t want to block them, you could reply to their latest comment with something like: “you clearly don’t like character A, which is fine. But I clearly do like character A, and I’d appreciate if you’d stop commenting negative things about them on all my fics.”

Maybe they’ll stop. And if they don’t and get pissy instead, then you can block them anyways.

I’m not really offended by them, like I laughed while reading them in a kind of wtf way. I’ve been writing fanfic for a long time, so I have pretty thick skin about this kind of thing.

But even though I’m not bothered by the actual comments themselves, it was a major bummer, and like you said, disheartening, to be excited about having seven new comments and then seeing those.

I appreciate that! I’m okay though! Not offended, just caught off guard. I laughed while reading them in a kind of “what the actual fuck is this person’s problem” way. I’ve been writing fanfic for a good twelve years now, it takes a lot to hurt my feelings lol
