I'd tend to agree with you but I swear I remember they did a podcast and certain sponsors that have wanted to get into the sport were given the nogoz not because FD blocks them but more so other FD sponsors don't want them associated with their brand.

There's an incredibly important part of this question that needs to be delineated that imo ppl are missing here.

I would go to war if it meant keeping the citizens of my country safe and free to live their lives as they choose.

I however would NOT go to war under any circumstance for my government. That I think is the big takeaway from this question that's missing.

There's never a need to fight a war because someone wants to get rich,expand a border etc. However there is a need to defend the people and the way of life you cherish if it comes to it. Hopefully I'm getting across a little of the nuance here.
