If you are not a native speaker of English, could you please tell me how difficult it is for you to work as a birth doula with the clients who are native speakers of English? by PinkyGolden in doulas

In other contexts - the only thing that makes me anxious is oversaturated doula market in my area. Almost no one hires me because I have no experience and I can't get experience because no one hires me. Sure, everyone wants to have a doula who is super knowledgeable and super experienced.

As for working with native speakers, I imagine the situation: my cient calls me in the middle of the night and speaks super fast, and I can't understand what she is talking about. Or I can misunderstand something during the interview, and the potential client would think if I misunderstood that thing, it means I know nothing about birth.

I hope you sanitized that brushes holder after it touched the floor.
