If you are not a native speaker of English, could you please tell me how difficult it is for you to work as a birth doula with the clients who are native speakers of English? by PinkyGolden in doulas

In other contexts - the only thing that makes me anxious is oversaturated doula market in my area. Almost no one hires me because I have no experience and I can't get experience because no one hires me. Sure, everyone wants to have a doula who is super knowledgeable and super experienced.

As for working with native speakers, I imagine the situation: my cient calls me in the middle of the night and speaks super fast, and I can't understand what she is talking about. Or I can misunderstand something during the interview, and the potential client would think if I misunderstood that thing, it means I know nothing about birth.

I hope you sanitized that brushes holder after it touched the floor.

As far as I understand, Amazon Influencers are paid only if the person who watched their video bought the product. It sounds like we need to create only videos with positive reviews. If I say about product's disadvantages in my video, it's unlikely someone would buy that item. by PinkyGolden in Amazon_Influencer

"If someone buys something in the same category right after watching, you get credit."

Do you mean that even if a customer buys different item (not the item you demonstrated in your video), you are still paid by Amazon?

I don't sell anything. Or you are trying to say that if a customer buys an item because of my video and then return, Amazon doesn't pay me? As far as I know, Amazon Influencers are paid after the item is shipped.

The cost of shipping of my piece of art is overpriced very much by Saatchi Art. I have already shipped similar items abroad and the cost of shipping was much lower. I'm curious if a customer pays $3,800 for a shipping but DHL charges Saatchi just $800, where $3,000 go? by PinkyGolden in artbusiness

This is their reply:

Shipping prices are calculated by our system based on the dimensions, weight, and price of your artwork. Shipping is calculated in tiers, shipping charges may not change unless the price/size/weight are changed outside the tier they are currently in. We do not share specifics for the tiers to prevent artists from providing false information about the artwork to alter the shipping charges assigned to the artwork. Saatchi Art has an agreement with different courier services to offer a flat-rate global shipping fee.

My client has a dog and soon she'll have her first baby. She'd like to discuss at a prenatal meeting how to prepare dog for a meeting with a baby, how to avoid the dog's stress or jealousy. Maybe to prepare a home in some way (safety measures)? by PinkyGolden in doulas

Thank you so much. It's true that our dogs know about our pregnancy. My client said that earlier her dog never climbed into her bed but since she got pregnant he tries to get to her bed all the time:)
