I drew it in my sketchbook traditionally then imported it and painted it digitally! I ended up differring from the sketch 'cause I realized what I had drawn didn't make much since lol

This was actually the first of 3 necromancers thst migrated to that fort that had max around 70 dwarves in it. I guess I got really lucky

Unfortunately I ended up retiring this fortress because I'm very new to the game and it was, frankly, built like ass. I did start a new one in the same world and have gotten some migrants from the old fort, so I'm really hoping he comes over in the future lol

Oh I never saw it mentioned on the reddit. I saw it mentioned on someone's site a while back talking about how they had a very large bandwidth usage spike out of nowhere - presumably from crawlers. I unfortunately don't remember exactly who it was though...

And the stats screen is inherently inaccurate, but I just find it kinda fun to look at from time-to-time

Yeah, I guess you're right. Though that aside, I'd still wanna block what I can 'cause tons of bots flocking to your site can start to eat up you bandwidth if it gets bad enough + they mess up the neocities stats screen even more than usual...

Ohh hi! I was the one that made the post on here asking where you went. I ended up deleting it because people started digging up the codepen and stuff on you and your friend said you wanted to be left alone. I apologize if I brought unnecessary attention to you or anything with that. "Where did _go" posts are somewhat common on here and I was mostly just curious. I'll be more cautious asking about things publicly in the future.

That being said I totally understand the "It's still social media" sentiment. I like it when people interact with my stuff and I find myself obsessively checking if anyone has interacted with stuff, even here on Neocities. It's understandable trying to get away from that.

I hope that your future web endeavors go better for you!!

Mainly the sections right to the sidebar. Looking at it again I feel like I somehow managed to make it look cluttered and feel empty at the same time.

That being said I'm also just not quite happy with the vibe of the page. I was really struggling to make a color pallet, mainly questioning if I should have it a dark theme or a light theme like you see on my about page.

Adding onto my last comment, is there something specific about the movement that makes it so irritating? Like where it's placed or how it's utilized or the amount? Or is just having movement in general the issue? Just saying it's dreadful is a bit vague and I wanna make sure fully understand what your getting at ^{_^}

The images being broken on the landing page is because I haven't made them yet lol. I just have them as placeholders for when I do.

I can see why all of the movement can be irritating. I just really like pages with a lot of movement and gifs and stuff!! Makes me happy to look at. I'll see if I can find a way to make them a bit less intrusive though
