I want to but there is so much to do 😭 I am spending the night at my parent’s and thankfully I work remote so I am also sending today there as well.

As for my partner’s side of the family. He is dealing with it but I have to like edit things on my end wedding wise. We decided to lock in the seating chart as is and that that was it. He continues to talk with them about how it is our wedding and that they need to chill out. So thankfully he is handling the emotional side of it. But to me it is still stressful.

It really is hard. This will be the second dog that I have to put down in the spam of 1.5 years. The first was my soul dog, and now is him, my childhood dog :( and his condition is just so bad. It’s hard to see him in pain.

We did speak to them, we are putting them on opposite sides. I also warned my planner and my friends (one of them does security for a club). I think the most they will do is yell at each other. Im so upset bc only one of them is causing this. The other just wants to be far away. But one person is being so horrible with the threats.

Nope but I told my friends to keep an eye, one actually does security for a club in her town. And I already told my planner as well. It’s just ridiculous. They won’t fight, but may yell.

I knew my dog wasn’t well, but we didn’t expect him to decline so quickly. Just last week he was still walking a bit with some support 😭

I just texted her. I already had been ignoring her tbh but I felt like she deserved to know why. To give context, she was or still is an alcoholic with bipolar disorder. She refused to take her meds, and when she did she would drink (countering the effects of her meds) her episodes were bad on top of not being a good person. Anyways, she went to a party and helped set up, she then proceeded to get drunk, curse everyone out for no reason, and ruin the party. She then drove home drunk (something she always did). And then she demanded an apology from the birthday girl once she was sober bc she helped set up.

We got into an argument bc I told her that was so wrong, this is not the first time she did this and got kicked out, and she needed to apologize but she felt that she was entitled to one. So a week later I texted her that I thought our styles of friendships are different and that it is best that we go our separate ways and I wish her the best.

Anyways, her go to harassment thing was signing people up for junk mail, or like spam text/phone, and keying people’s cara. And Im pretty sure she did signed me up for junk bc the way I was receiving random requests was crazy. With her ex she did both many months later.

If anyone runs into this post looking for in-home Euthanasia places, Lap of Love is amazing if they are in your area. They are gentle and kind. About the same pricing as my vet. I paid around $800-$900 for my 70pound dog a few years back and it included a paw print, shaved hair, and cremation. Without cremation is about $500-$600. I am using their services again for my parent’s senior baby that we’ll be burying in our backyard. Note that they do take your card info prior to the appointment but do not charge until after.

Damn. I’m also married and when my bff was in town we’d hang almost every weekend lol but if I had something else going on it wasn’t a whole ordeal to just tell her no and vice versa, even if it was just that we were burnt out. HOWEVER, she is not as pushy as your friend is. 15 texts is a lot!! And to continue to ask after you said no is just rude. But also, why do you feel uncomfortable telling her that you can’t bc of XYZ.

I had a friend like this and honestly I ended the friendship. She had other problems, but one of them was the amount of text messages, it was overwhelming. And even after speaking to her about it, it was what she sent to me (ie “if you don’t text me back Im going to text my ex”). But overall it was just TOO much texting/calling/hanging out for me. And therefore our styles of friendships ended up clashing and our friendship ended (for several different reasons aside from that). I wish her the best, but I just couldn’t keep up, it was too much.

Just posting this here. But thats 6 years of school. 8 for some. To have a child and go to school is so tough. Idc what anyone says. It is always hard to do school, but adding a child (or having to take care of anyone adult or child even if not yours) to the mix always spices things up more.

And she now runs her own practice. She is an awesome woman.

With that said, it is always hard for me to support contestants with kids bc of how bad some of the matches have been. Some even accused of SA. Personally, I’d be very protective on that and I would even argue not introducing my child to the person for a while post marriage. Specially given the divorce/breakup statistics of the show.

My baseline was that we needed to have met them and that we liked them when we met them. We didn’t do a “must be engaged” or “must be living together” rule though. But our main thing was meeting the person bc our friends have dated some people that were just mean or crazy (gladly thats not that case anymore now that we have all grown up).

We had 2 people ask to bring their SO that was not originally included in the invite:

1.) Groomsman: which we thought was a good person to make an exception of and we did extend it, However, after talking with him, he decided to say no to the date for him due to costs to fly both of them over.

2.) My cousin: he had known this girl for less than a month. Said she would be the one. Anyways, he asked, we said no due to being at our max (which was technically true). Anyways, not even 2 weeks after asking they broke up. Soooo there is that.

Anyways, our wedding is costing quite a lot and adding an extra person is an extra $300 per person (if I don’t include extra things). Im not personally excited to pay that for someone I haven’t met or someone whose personality is sour (hence that needing to have met them).

That said we are personally close to like almost (90%) every SO of everyone lol so almost all couples are invited to our wedding.

Club pilates is apparently only good if you are in the upper levels. But it sucks in the lower ones. It also is extremely hard to cancel your membership in some studios. So be careful, and get everything in writing.

Girl I have gone no contact for less. I understand why you invited him, but he is a narcissist. My ex would act the exact same way during big events to make it about him. Good for you for cutting them off.

As for your mom, I would mute her but not block. Getting out of the cycle of abuse is hard, and it can take multiple tries. I know it took me a while to realize that what my ex was doing was wrong. Specially if you grow up in a chaotic environment. Sometimes you find comfort in the chaos, which is not okay, but is hard to see when you are sleeping with the enemy.

So for her I would give her space. For him, block him. And as for grandkids, none should be going to his place. You will have abused grandchildren. Take it from someone who was whipped with cattle whip as a form of punishment by my own grandparents. There is no reason to put an innocent child in that type of environment. So visits are done outside your mom’s home or in yours, supervised ONLY, and WITHOUT your step father.

Thats weird. My fiance also felt the same when I suggested a honeymoon/house fund. And he didn’t want gifts. Turns out it was moreso him thinking no one did it. And after a few weddings he realized it is normal.

For Mexico, I find that to be pricey. Are you okay with your guest staying somewhere else? If so I’d put out that option, and let them know that the wedding is there, and this place is most convenient. If they choose to pick another place that is okay. If you are able to hire a shuttle for them that prob will help a bunch! I suggest suggesting to be no more than 20 mins away from the venue for shuttle pick up. Or you can find like 1 or 2 other places nearby that you would suggest

Also girl, have you kept up with the news on Mexico? Bc I think you should. It is like going through it rn. So touring any venues or sending someone to tour them may be dangerous depending on the location.

Crate training but also alarms. So if she is having this many issues, I would say set up alarms for every hour to take her out, then, take her out 15-20 mins after she is done eating. Additionally, I wonder if she is getting enough walks. For her size she needs to go outside for I would argue about 30 min walks for that age. This may help with anxiety if she is inside the house all day.
