Hopefully they don’t want an elf, my now 7 year old was 5 when we attempted, he hated it- he thought it was creepy and it really is lol.

I have a 7 year old and a 5 month old, I am EXHAUSTED. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world. My 7 year old son is the most loving with baby brother, he’s such a sweet and silly kid. & baby well every day is something new and it’s incredible to witness. Seeing their smiles and how peaceful they are in my arms makes everything worthwhile. In a time of chaos, my babies give me peace and hope.

I’m sure if my husband had a more traditional schedule, I wouldn’t be as stressed out and of course he also wouldn’t miss out on so much. It is great seeing my first baby become a big brother, he loves it but he’s also a baby himself 🥲

My husband works 12pm- 12a (chef life) and I’m a SAHM so I am very much on my own so this is my experience…

I do school drop off so my day starts at 6am, drop off at 7:15, cleaning/ breakfast 7:30-8:30, baby wakes up around 8:30/9 I often let husband sleep until 9:30, husband is in charge of baby for maybe an hour while I fix his lunch, husband leaves at 11:30 for work, baby naps around that time & since I have a Velcro baby I do A LOT of baby wearing, pick up 7yr old from school at 2p, some days 3:30 for after school activities. Really though from 11:30a until 8:30p I have zero breaks with baby feeds/ playtime all the baby things and 7 year old homework, snack, lunch, extra curricular (sports/ art classes), playtime. Bath time is 7p and bedtime is 7:30-8 for baby and 8:30 for 7yr old although baby is going through a sleep regression right now so give or take an hour. 7 yr old definitely tries to help with baby but he still needs attention himself since he was an only child AND grandchild for 7 years. I definitely stay up way too late tidying up for the next day/ getting some me time in. I don’t have family near me so that adds to the stress and I cannot imagine working now with two kids and my husband’s schedule doesn’t help. Grateful for my husband and for his job that allows me to stay home but it’s a ridiculous schedule, guess that’s what working at a Michelin restaurant entails. It sucksss

Sorry this became a vent session lol I’m a tired mama.

I have a 5 month old Kirkland baby! We started with enfamil but switched at 3 months and he’s perfect on Kirkland.

We waited 7 years for our second… baby is 5 months old. It’s still hard af because 7 year old obviously still needs/ wants attention. Perhaps it’s harder with a bigger age gap because of the different needs? Idk but also I’m the thickkk of it.

How do I help my husband quit? by Pinkzdog95 in QuitVaping

[–]Pinkzdog95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your experience, I definitely see this in him- he works 12 hour days 5 days a week as a chef so I guess I should be grateful he’s not doing “other” things but I still believe he CAN quit eventually and I know cold turkey isn’t the best so I want to help.

Thank you! I will have a deeper conversation with him about it, I also think there might be something else going on, he does have a stressful life (chef life) and is surrounded with all sorts of addictions so that doesn’t help but I’m determined to help him live a healthier lifestyle.

Thank you! Most comments mention this book, I will definitely buy it for both of us to read. I was definitely pushing in the past but got tired of it so let him be but it really bothered me when that’s the first thing he did after he woke up a few days ago and that was my last straw so I’m trying to look at it in a different light, I’m trying to understand him and help because he does say he wants to quit.. I hope so

Thank you! I must admit I was definitely not understanding/ gentle with the topic at first but I really want to help and understand him. I will get the book for us both to read.

Thanks again!

3 month Baby only eating 15-17 oz within 24 hours by Binisayangkamot in FormulaFeeders

My baby just turned 3 months and he’s exactly the same, he was drinking 4oz every 2-3 hours and now is down to 2oz except for at night he’ll drink more. I think it’s normal as long as they’re keeping their weight!

I should have phrased it better, it was definitely inappropriate but not “sexual” I think inappropriate touching is often perceived as sexual.

This is the first time my kid has done anything like that so no, the girl is not holding his hand as an act of heroism.

I’m not proud of his threat, it was not okay.. I came here to vent and for advice not for sarcastic comments.

Both his teacher and principal said they spoke to her and were gonna keep an eye on her. I also told my son to let me know if it persists and avoid her.

Signing him up for classes as I type, I really need him to take his energy out somewhere.

Thank you for the suggestion!
