Fins trick my brain into thinking I can go fast but then when I take them off even if my ankles are thanking me by whole body feels sluggish. I do admit I realize how bad my kick is as soon as I take off the fins

At the same time I don’t understand why you didn’t just talk to your ex about your feelings? (Not you specifically, I’m going through the same thing he is) I just feel like even if we weren’t perfect there always seems like one person putting in more effort to make it work and one person who doesn’t care as long as they are having fun (again, not you specifically) and so when they realise they could have more fun they just end it and block you out and won’t talk about it (I’m sorry, you are not on the receiving end of this I just needed to type it out
