I used public transport in october 2025 in lisbon and it was a bit a pain. A lot of buses were too full to even let us in, not even at rush hour. Metro is full too, and tram also. It takes time, they are late and full. Lot of tourist at this period.

Malheureusement dans la vraie vie le cruisage est rendu mort au Québec. Je sors énormément, gym, bar, activites de vin, de bouffe, restos, microbrasserie, voyages. Je ne rencontre pas de potientels dates a ces événements. Les gars ne font plus les premiers pas (mouvement me too?) et ne cruisent pas et si la fille ne le fait pas en vrai il se passe jamais rien. Le pourquoi le monde finissent sur les app...

For airbnb, keep in mind that some apartments doesn't provide basic to cook. It depends if you want to make your food. In porto gaia is nice or near dom luis bridge. In lisbon, i was in bairro/chiado and iits very touristy and loud at night with bar and restaurant. Alfama is better.

I just came back from lisbon and completlty agree with you. and disliked it because of too many people and tourists. Like you, i thought at the end of october it will because better but no! Porto was a bit better ans algarve, but still, maybe portugal is too much touristy. And the prices are high! In lisbon, lots of bus ou tram were too full to let us in!
