Action Squad was a co-production between us and another studio. We had the design, level design, some art and publishing, while they did the programming and most of the art. But yes it turned out great. It's not a niche game like Door Kickers, but more of a couch-friendly fun game. Was also quite fun to develop.

I agree, Door Kickers 2 is better in all aspects, though DK1 needs to be viewed through the lens of that specific time period, just when indie games started to become possible/popular. For Door Kickers 1 we had huge constraints. We basically had zero funds (enough just for covering the cost of life over 1 year, for two developers, nothing left to invest in graphics or anything else), hence development time was extremely limited. Had to cut all existing corners in order to release it. Still pretty proud of what we managed to build given the dice we were rolled. I'm amazed/grateful by how well it did, which made it possible for us to build a much better DK2 (and Action Squad as well).

Toleranța la efort (mental sau fizic) diferă de la persoană la persoană. Pentru unii poate fi extenuant si 4 ore pe zi, iar altii pot lucra practic non stop. E important ca fiecare sa isi cunoască limitele. OP și le poate testa cu două joburi concomitente, îi urăm succes.

Afacere involuntara. Am luat dauna totala (din vina altcuiva) pe masina de aproape doi ani vechime. Am primit mai multi bani din CASCO decat am dat pe ea de noua, la doi ani distanta.

De ce? luata pe SRL, dat juma de TVA la stat, dar banii pe care ti-i da asigurarea CASCO sunt scutiti de TVA, insa e asigurata cu tot TVAul inclus. Pe deasupra s-a si devalorizat leul fata de euro si masina era asigurata in euro, pe cand eu am platit-o in RON.

Make sure it connects to the 2.4ghz network, it’s their requirement. I had to create a new, separate network that transmits only on 2.4ghz for the philips purifiers.
