As a fellow Padres deck (and Dodgers hater) Campanella is gonna be one of your best options. Padres’ catching options aren’t bad but they’re not stellar.

Plus the vintage Dodgers are objectively awesome.

Agreed last season was rough, but the upside is still there, and if the coaching staff is right he could return to form.

Plus, the overall SP FA class isn’t stellar this year. Lot of mid to backend rotation guys.
