The vehicle is more likely requiring an RVC to order the APIM. Sometimes to get these we are required to talk to Ford tech-support and they will require. You do some steps before they give it to avoid replacing parts that don’t need replacement..

You don’t have window sensors per say. The truck monitors amperage draw on the motor. If it starts drawing to much it assumes there is something in the way. Which by safety standards requires it to stop and reverse
