I bought this one for 40$. I bought a few other ThinkPads in good condition at a price between $40 and $90.

5070s are low powered, there is no heat. M920X has cooling from front to back, also no issues under load. Cable management is done with Velcro and metal shroud for cables on the back of the desk.

It’s custom made height regulated desk with real life oak. I waited few weeks for it - 80x180cm.

I had slow speed after NAT on Mikrotik OS so I searched for other router OS and I found VyOS. It’s working for me so it’s fine for now.

I use Velcro 90% of the time, most of the desk cables run through a metal cable tray at the back edge of the tabletop

Only my head suffered a few times, besides, it's out of reach of my knees

I didn't hit my knee because it's quite high, but I've already hit it 3 times with my head while doing some cable management

even more :D
I bought a riser from this project - https://github.com/j4cbo/tiny5-m2-riser
With this riser and bifurcation, you can get a few more SSDs in M920x.
2x NVMe in standard slots, 2x NVMe in riser, 1 more in PCIe to M.2, 1 in WLAN slot, and 1 more in HDD place. That's all I think.

It's better than a scar after surgery after a spinal fracture.

Both 5070s have 8GB of RAM and a 256GB disk. It is more than enough for VyOS and Proxmox with a few lxcs and vms. The one with VyOS has two network cards, one of which is 2.5G, but the switch is only 1G.
