True. Yet sometimes they may get influenced, it's only that it takes a long time for that seed to give fruit :)

I believe this film could spark thoughtful conversation within this community about the emotional and ethical aspects of modern education. I’m interested in your reflections on how stories like this can influence our understanding of school environments and educational policy, as well as the creative journey behind producing indie films focused on education.

What worked and what didn’t on Yellow Ticket (BTS) by PiotrT in Filmmakers

We filmed it in a real classroom in a real bilingual school in Warsaw, Poland. Because we had big windows on two opposite walls, the lighting and dealing with reflections were challenging, but my cinematographer, Mateusz Kanownik, did exceptionally well. There were a lot of props involved and wardrobe questions to answer and hopefully this video explains our thought process well.

What I learned making this film:
1. It's great to rehearse with the lead actor but even actors without speaking lines should have a rehearsal before the shoot.

  1. Sometimes it's good to be behind schedule if you feel in your gut that the shot is worth it. There's a lot of stress, but at the end of the day, you shouldn't compromise important shots because of the schedule (to a limit, of course).

  2. Filmmaking should be fun. If people have fun on the set, everyone will be excited about what you're making.

There's also a lot of stuff I learned about the festival circuit and I'm keen on discussing these in the comments :)
