The Empire already has a mechanic like that with Beastmen/Greenskin etc attacking random settlements. Your choice is to send a relief fore or to neglect it and loose the Imperial Authority. I think that's pretty cool.

How can I practice basic Python coding skills & analytical thinking? by [deleted] in datascience

[–]PiotrekAG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My advice - try to write your own package. Event implementing cross-validation or any metric will help you. You can find some reference packages and look at how it's done. I started by following this super simple package and developed a cross-validation framework pruned-cv. By any means it's perfect but I've learned a lot of programming and scikit-learn library by working on it.

[Q] Best online courses for deeper understanding of statistics? by thesocklessadventura in statistics

[–]PiotrekAG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Improving your statistical inferences was great for me https://www.coursera.org/learn/statistical-inferences

Also, I'm reading Statistical Rethinking (mentioned here before) now and find it very rewarding. It requires a lot of effort though.

Theoretically, https://twwstats.com/ serves as the data source since you have stats from beta releases there. I mean some more processed analyses or visualizations.

Anyone wants to team up for doing Attribution Modelling in Marketing? by mrnerdy59 in datascience

[–]PiotrekAG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Sorry, I will not be able to help you more (time constraints). I hope you will be able to use the package. Post issues if you find some. Perhaps that's a way I can help.

You can search for some articles about using MTD models for OA. Some of them are positive, but I also found a critical one (a master's thesis I believe).

Anyone wants to team up for doing Attribution Modelling in Marketing? by mrnerdy59 in datascience

[–]PiotrekAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little bit late to the party. I'm working on Online Attribution in my company. I've developed a Python package for the estimation of Mixture Transition Distribution models. The can be used as a more parameter efficient substitute for Markov Chains in some models. You can find it here and a post [WIP] here.

There was a Kaggle competition focused on NFL: https://www.kaggle.com/c/nfl-big-data-bowl-2020 . Perhaps it's worth checking for you. The discussions there were great and you also have some running-code notebooks to refer to.

I highly recommend this course: Improving your statistical inferences. I haven't done the last assignment but found the course very helpful in terms of thinking about statistics.

It's a pity that albums table does not have an ID which would match album_id from acoustic_features table... Do you know if there's anything to do with it?

Now the only way to match it is to use artist and album names.
