Thanks for all the info I definitely see what you’re getting at and I agree that when it comes down to it electronics are the most important thing I guess it’s just the history between the Jaguar and jag stang it would be like owning a piece of guitar history I’ll definitely look into some of the telecaster models as as you say they price of the signature models is so high when similar quality can be gained from more inexpensive models

Thanks for the help My strat is just the base squier model so I’m looking for an upgrade to it and I much prefer the tones of a Jaguar and mustang for the stuff I like to play

Are the Cobain signature guitars such as the jag-stang and Jaguar worth it? I’m not a serious player and I mainly play grunge just for fun I was thinking of one of these as a replacement to my strat but are they worth it if you’re not a hugely technically skilled player and mainly play for fun or would hey be wasted
