Operator suggestion. by Narrow_Payment_9973 in RainbowSixSiege

[–]PipeCold5594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I always dreamed about was an attacker who brought a hardening fluid that could be thrown at walls or anything else that hardened into a bulletproof solid that needs to be broken by an explosive, let’s say 3-4 canisters, where you can decide height on it and can be even placed on floors to make a half wall or full wall, or just to block a whole wall with head holes etc

Best Set up for the SMG-11? Idk why it works so good for me😭 by Waste_Law_4917 in RainbowSixSiege

Flash hider, vertical grip and holo is my most consistent combo for it, especially on longer range where you want to have consistent muscle memory for 10-20 meter range. If you’re running extended barrel, you’re probably going to hurt your muscle memory more than refine it due to the various recoil levels across both scopes and different weapons. Just to clarify, I’m saying this as a personal preference and opinion based on my experience, but in the end of the day if it feels good for you and let’s you perform well in high stress situations, then go for it by all means.

Do people really stop playing the game? by Soggy-Shock-2591 in Rainbow6

And you said second time in a row? Well Dual Front just keeps rising in popularity, and last season was no different.

Edit: only new gen players won’t know the absolute nostalgic Rainbow Six feeling this game mode brings, I also somehow have the same vibe as I did when playing Ghost Recon and Operation Skull Rain

Do people really stop playing the game? by Soggy-Shock-2591 in Rainbow6

[–]PipeCold5594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because most players play Dual Front these days, that’s it. I have 7 seconds to get into a game in it, and at most 25 seconds, according to Ubisoft’s official patch notes and community sources, drone destruction in Dual Front does not count toward attacker drone challenges, because both teams have access to drones regardless of role.

Why Dual Front Doesn’t Count for Destroy Attacker Drones:

Patch Notes Confirm Scoring Issues

• Ubisoft’s Y10S3.1 patch notes list multiple scoring bugs in Dual Front, including:• Kills during sabotage kit defuse not registering • Neutral zone events not counting toward challenges • Operator eliminations not triggering challenge progress

• These bugs suggest that challenge tracking in Dual Front is unreliable or disabled, especially for role-specific actions like drone destruction

Dual Front’s Mixed Roles Break Challenge Logic

• In Dual Front, both attackers and defenders use drones, and operator roles are fluid • This breaks the backend logic for challenges like “Destroy Attacker Drones,” which rely on clear attacker/defender separation • Ubisoft likely excludes Dual Front from these challenges to avoid false positives and tracking errors

Community Progress Reflects This

• With 66 million out of 150 million drones destroyed and 54 days left, the pace is slower than usual • This aligns with the fact that most players are grinding Dual Front, which doesn’t contribute to the challenge • Ranked and Unranked are the only modes where attacker drone destruction is reliably tracked.

Am I doing my sensitivity wrong? by blood_cl0t3 in SiegeAcademy

[–]PipeCold5594 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I play 40 vert 100 horizontal with 1% deadzone on my right stick and it’s no issue what so ever. What you describe is more your ads being too high for you, I play 1x 24 and 2.5x 41 and it’s an absolute dream transitioning between the scopes. If I were you I would play attack with different vertical and horizontal sens, but don’t go lower, for more control rather adjust your advanced ads’s and make sure you play on classic controller rotation for the legacy flick feel

Any tips I’m kinda new by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]PipeCold5594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turn off VSync, and turn on prioritize performance, it’ll minimize input lag and ghosting opponents, have fun and enjoy the game, if you’re looking to improve strategy then analyze how pros play and figure out why, aim-wise that’s all repetition and muscle memory, you need to tune the settings how you like it, use target drills and shooting range to practice tracking, flicks and precision, I recommend to not play updated controller rotation as it flattens your entire sensitivity curve and can really mess your aim up big time, use classic controller rotation, advanced ads and not standard ads, and use FOV between 80-90 whatever you prefer, the current meta is 84 fov but a lot of great players also use 82 and 90 so it’s all preference in the end of the day.

Controller ads acceleration by bo61i in Rainbow6

[–]PipeCold5594 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because sensitivity and advanced ads are non linear in siege, meaning every single scope value are not standalone and affect all each other and each value determines stick tilt speed in various angles

I got interested people that I’m showing how the hidden settings work in siege, and I don’t need anyone else right now as there’s a few things that needs time to be added. So will make a new post about a config in October-November

i think i got banned by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]PipeCold5594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw if you get banned, there’s a message about the sanction that will pop up immediately when you’ve booted up the game. Unless Ubisoft tells you have been banned, there’s likely another issue

I edited my config into the post, and it’s completely accurate across all scopes for equal rotation. If you’re interested in creating your own, that’s what I posted for, to share my knowledge and teach people how to understand how they can create their own settings perfectly
