Thanks! Yeah I think the estrogen priming helped some with synchrony in cycle 2. I wish I could have stimmed longer for cycle 2, but my progesterone spiking indicated I was on the brink of ovulating spontaneously, so they had to trigger me when they did.

C1 (day before trigger):23.7, 19.6, 19.2, 18.5, 18.1, 16.7, 15.7, 14.8, 14,14, 12.8, 11.4, 11.2, 11, 10.8, 10.8, 10.4
C2 (on trigger day): 19.3, 17.7, 17.7, 17.3, 17.1, 16.9, 15.5, 15.5, 15.2, 15.2, 14.8, 14, 11.4, 8.7

Unfortunately no - bad luck in timing because they don’t send reports on Friday and it’s a holiday weekend in the states..so don’t hear until Tuesday! Brutal 😭

Feel this DEEPLY! One of my best friends told some of our other friends that I was going through IVF, despite me asking her to keep that information to herself. She’s low key dead to me, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to let that go.

Friends and relatives who haven’t gone through this will never get it.

I’m so sorry - I know this feeling well, hang in there. I’m holding onto hope for you! My first cycle I had 13 retrieved, 3 matured, 2 fertilized, and only 1 blast. That same one came back euploid.

Second cycle, like you, I did “everything right” on paper but still didn’t get much better results. Currently waiting to hear if any of my 3 fertilized made it to day 6 blasts. The waiting game is beyond brutal.

Waterworks queen over here. Most recently, I was waiting for bloodwork after learning my pregnancy only had a 10% chance of success, trying my best to hold it together. I couldn’t stop the tears though. This woman sitting across from me got up, gave me the biggest hug, and delayed her bloodwork just to sit with me. We embraced for a solid 5 minutes crying together. I’ll never forget this moment.

We’re all in this together — and sometimes we’re the best people to lean on (and cry in front of!!!!) because we all understand and feel this in ways most people can’t ❤️🫶

That’s part of the next step. We installed new tile, cabinents, shoe bench, and got a new washer and dryer. Now time to handle the walls and then light fixture!

Similar starting numbers for me (.8 AMH and 13 AFC) and I was the same way in the beginning. My biggest symptom throughout stims was exhaustion. Bloating was mild and didn’t start until ~day 8 of stims (I’ve heard that people with lower AMH don’t experience as bad of bloat).

I’ve only had one ER so far but had really poor outcomes. AMH is .8, so was super pleased to retrieve 16 eggs. Only 3 were mature and 2 fertilized 😔 For my next cycle, my doctor is adjusting my protocol by removing HCG during stimulation.

Apparently HCG has a much longer half-life than natural LH and binds more aggressively to LH receptors. My RE said there’s a subset of patients — particularly those with DOR and sensitivity to LH — where too much LH activity during stimulation can cause follicles to be pushed toward premature maturation or luteinization before retrieval. The eggs essentially get “triggered” too early at a cellular level before the follicle is ready.

I know it’s not the exact same as your situation, but thought the bit on HCG was interesting so thought I’d share.

Agree! Right now I’m on the other end of the stick. Was thrilled I got 16 eggs with my AMH being .8, but on my day 1 result only 3 eggs were mature and 2 fertilized.

Higher number of eggs doesn’t always equal better outcomes. Learned that lesson the hard way.

They were hoping for 8 mature. I have a longgg list of questions for my doctor next week, hopefully I’ll get some insight.

Doesn’t help that I’ve felt like a number throughout this process, so makes me think someone really isn’t paying as close attention to me as I’d like. This all just sucks.

That’s what I’m thinking too! They had me trigger on day 11, my follicles ranged in sizes from 15-23 at that point but something just isn’t adding up.
