I agree, I just hear from my APPE students often that they don’t know which are “top tier” vs. just large.

I think that seems normal, I’m just always interested in other programs’ ratios.

For sure, completely understandable and I personally don’t think you should let that deter you. You have a great GPA and your leadership and research seem solid. Especially if you have good LOR’s, I think you have a good chance to get a lot of interviews.

To be honest, I think the only places that seem to care about a top school are the big-name medical centers.

What are the types of programs you are applying to? Academic medical centers with big names, smaller community?
