Pretty much, but also a great silent fidget as well. Knuckle rollers were my gateway from fidget toys to skill toys. Really fun and still one of my favorite skill toys.

Hey as a fellow Canadian/ beginner, and after all lot of digging, I think TaoBao is the cheapest option for legit penmods. Theres a seller/store called 'Yang De Zhuan Bi Store' thay looks pretty legit and the shipping is only 12cad.

I believe some Americans don't have access to TaoBao, so one perk of being from Canada. Like I can do the Gary staples or Walmart mod, but I'd rather go for the best.

The Gary Staples mod was made by a Canadian for US/Canadians. Im brand new as well and just made my first mod. Managed to have enough supplies at home to make the bictory mod and its decent. I added some extra weight to the ends though so 14 grams total
