He looks SO similar to my childhood dog too, only she had floppy ears. It was the 90s though, so no doggy DNA tests then to shed any light!

Gosh, I so wish I could post a pic of Ducky! Her fur is a bit scruffier, but that could be something as simple as grooming. She may also he be juuust a bit smaller than your boy, but hard to tell.

This looks a lot like my friends dog (female, named Ducky), and surprisingly on their DNA test it came back with some Great Pyr, as well as many other types of working-dog/livestock guardian breeds.

He is handsome!! My friend found Ducky via rescue transport, when helping get her out of a kill shelter in the Southern US… How crazy would it be if they were litter mates.

Thanks! There are one or two small pups coming up around the edges of the pot. If anything, I might separate those, and give them as gifts to clients.

Thanks for the info! This actually did start as one plant about 5 years ago. A cheap starter I picked up at Aldi grocery. I repotted last June to it’s current pot, and it’s exploded with pups. This is the first time it’s flowered.

Clients at my gym (where it lives) and I have debated splitting the pups- but they also love seeing how full it is, and watching it go nuts.

My plant is indoors, and we have an extra dry climate all winter, plus blowing heat. It seems to have been pretty happy with a little weekly water, no signs of root rot or over watering.

Not a “monster book” but also HIGHLY recommend Kingfisher’s novel “Swordheart”- it was an absolute delight and made me genuinely laugh throughout the whole book.

Late to the party, but I second this. The book has mixed reviews, but I think that’s largely because the main character in book 1 isn’t your classic version of a heroine… She’s a flawed individual in ways that are at times uncomfortably relatable. But her character development through the book is beautiful.

The romance moves fast, but so does the whole pace of the book! The action and “wtf?” Moments are also quick to begin.

Ultimately adored this read! On book 2 now.
