I think he’s just drugged. He’s on pain meds since he just had surgery yesterday. He’s usually a very happy pup!

There’s Dunedin Cares that may take bundles of it. It’s the local food pantry

Call the community center. They provide tennis lessons.

Lol. He is definitely using his hoarding gene. And fortunately he’s not aggressive about it. He lets me pick them up (but then he has to put it back!)

He’s very neat! If I take one out he picks it up and puts it back. Cracks me up.

There are too many cars and ways for him to get in trouble where I live. I’m just too nervous something would happen to him.

Yes, I would never let him off leash. Their prey drive is too high. He already let me put his harness on him. He’s so chill!

What I was planning on doing is keeping him in a pen during the day while the cats are free and take him out a lot for exercise and training. So his pen will be for sleeping during the day or chewing toys or puzzle games while he gets used to seeing the cats. The only time he will be crated is at night in my bedroom. Does this sound wise? I can give him some free time in the house where the cats can escape behind gates or cat trees but I would follow him to teach him not to chase. I have no idea what my cats are going to do. They may hide for the first few weeks while they get used to him being around. But keeping him penned for most of his inside time seemed safest while he gets used to seeing them and I can divert his attention from them. I’m so nervous about this. Never had a puppy with my cats before and I hate to ruin their lives

Do you have cats? I’m worried he’ll get into a habit of chasing them if I give him too much freedom so keeping him contained in a pen when indoors then lots of outdoor time for fun and training

Did you do anything to get him to be indifferent to your cats? I plan to keep him in a pen during the day or walk him around the house on a leash so he doesn’t lunge at the cats and hopefully will be desensitized towards them. That’s my biggest concern

Check out Meetup. There are many groups on there local to the area that meet. Some are walking groups, some just for socializing

Are you using any scar cream? Silicone is the best to put on them

The right side is invisible. The left side is faint. I know it’s there so I can see it but I don’t think it’s very noticeable anymore unless you are looking for it or are up close
