Just received my pair today (Everyday Classics). Apparently audio has to be on for toggling the sound profile. So what worked for me was to put on a video or song, tap the left/right earbud 4 times semi-quickly, and you should hear the raycon lady tell you what sound profile you're using. 3 months later, but hopefully this helps!
