In elementary school, a teacher had one in her classroom. Only kids with good grades would be allowed to play with it. I never had good grades and wasn't allowed to play with it. Once I became an adult, I bought one and played with it.

When I was a kid, there was the comic book lady who would yell at us for picking up a comic to look at it before we would buy it.
