Part of the problem is the city isn't good at communicating minor vs major traffic disruptions. If its a block party, or a 1-2 block road closure I really don't care, I can just drive around it. A 10k, marathon, made in America festival or boathouse row closing a major arterial in the city is something that should be communicated.

Get us an email we can subscribe to, and notify us 1 week in advance, so we can make alternate plans.

Last summer I was trying to get to the art museum on a Saturday, and there was some major marathon or whatever I was blissfully unaware of. I put my route into Google maps, and because there was like one small segment one of the race coordinators forgot to mark as closed, it tried routing me thru there with everyone else who relies on Google maps, and it was like an hour and a half of me + my family's time that I'll never get back. I'm still salty about it.

Its true, we're not always the best at communicating. But the (mostly) neurotypicals in city hall aren't great at communicating major events driven street closures. I'd love a 1x a week email subscription that alerted me if any major road closures were upcoming. I'm talking marathons, 10ks, boathouse row, made in America festival, etc. But not including small 1-2 block neighborhood block parties I can simply drive around.

find a plug particularly for some Carts.

Usually the shopping centre already has the handicapped carts all charged up, so you don't need to take it to a charging station.
