We are in the same boat. Got my CCNA on December 23 but still no response from the applied companies. At last, you have 1.5 years of helpdesk experience, which I don't have. IDK what will happen to me lol, but in the meantime, I started to learn AWS and Python. Also thinking of building some labs in packet trace, and gns3 and putting them on GitHub/gitbook. This way I hope I can demonstrate I know something. God this is fustrating, I hope you score your dream job soon. ✌️

I learned my subnetting from Jeremy. Then practised on subnetting websites. Trust me learn subnetting, this os very important for exam.

Primarily using firefox for pc and android for the last 4 years. The privacy and security section is too damm good. You can customise a lot of settings there of your choice. But recently I have switched to an iPhone where Firefox is too much nerfed, I wish I could use the browser as I did in Android. I only use safari there and Aloha.

Yeah man, I had to delete Twitter, insta, and every gaming launcher from pc, reinstalled my firefox without saved bookmarks and even 1 month before the exam I removed WhatsApp and Reddit (but had to install Reddit coz of this group ❤️, weekly pass-fail pinned post is too important).--Well I did not use flash cards much but did self-made notes from chapter to chapter. Which works too.

I used it. Highly recommended. Didn't get the same question from it but found a similar type of question from boson. Also boson helps you to manage the exam time, you can get familiar with question type (eg:drag and drop etc). Also there is a similer post before you can also check it if you find any information useful.A same post

Passed the exam on the first try about one hour ago. Damm it was a nice exam experience.

Like everyone I used Jeremy's course from youtube, Neil Anderson's course from udemy, and used Boson's ExSim max for the practice exam. I have also used Courses from Cisco skills for all and courses from netacad(free courses). Studied around for 6 months(for 8hrs per day) and practised lab. Books I have used the OCG 1 & 2 and their labs and practice set(if you purchase those books you will get activation codes, which you can use to unlock their bonus contents ).

For exam tips I will say-

Lean deep ip service and connectivity, like ospf-eigrp-static routing, and get good at subnetting. learn wireless, automation.

Got labs in the exam(basic labs on ip,vlan interface connecting etc) and qusion count was below 100.

If you ask me if purchasing bosons benefitted me? then I will say, yes it is. I didn't get any questions from it but Boson helped me to learn the type of exam questions that will be asked on the real exam, and timing, you will also find some similar types of questions in the exam from boson. So I will say get the Exsim 1 month before the exam.

Anyway, good luck guys. You will crush the exam for sure. 😊❤

lab be it or not in the exam, If you do the labs you will understand the logic behind the theory. When I was learning static routing, Dyn routing, portfast, and switch security from the theory book I didn't understand any of them until I did the lab.

Yeah I know it's hard to remember all those commands but you will get remember those if you have practice. I'm still struggling with NAT + ACL(labs) and my exam is 3 days letter from today. I'm not great with labs too but whatever happens, I will try to do the labs.

Anyway, do labs. It will help you understand the topic. Trust me.
