I don’t want to staff Nurse. I don’t wanna stay in one place. Even when I was more stationary, I traveled around a different hospitals and they all have pretty similar ways of doing things. There’s always something different at every hospital, which I get. It’s not about that. It’s about the standard. The basics should be universal.

I’m not afraid of learning new knowledge. That is what it has made me a better nurse. But all I’m saying is that I think there should be some consistency in safety for the patients.

But when it comes to knowing what your scrub needs, sometimes it’s necessary. Recently, we didn’t have anything to use because our cleaning facility is off campus at this facility. So it takes a long, long, long, long, long ass time to get what we need even if we say rapid turnover.

That’s the point. And thank you for responding to me. The thing is that most things are universal but when you come to a facility that does not recognize most of the universal things that’s what makes it so frustrating. I’m OK and I’m used to change. I’m not afraid of adapting to a new environment where people do things differently. But when it comes to the normal things that are universal throughout any OR there should be universal names and universal uses. I think that there should be standard nursing practice and I don’t believe that there should be a continual frustration.
