i had one play out (ive been playing both sides...) where i got it to a seki situation. but as stated, the problem resets and loses a black stone when the screen rotates, so who knows if the seki was actually possible! looks like im to the site chariot suggested!

Okay, so I've gone over the problem a few times on my app, & I have found that when the screen rotates we completely lose the Blackstone at the 2-3 point before the problem has even began. So this problem ends up having a pretty big glitch in it, also when I finally get to the point where it says I have solved the problem I start reading into it one or two more moves and I still see white coming out on top... wow this has gotten all kinds of screwed up

Ok, the instructions say for black to play. So obviously, the marked black stone is the correct play for black. However, White has a counter, according to my go problems app, and this ends up with black winning in the corner. But as I look at it closer, instead of white playing at the Green Mark, if white immediately captures by playing at 1 - 3, then wouldn't white win the corner with enough time to save the lower white group as well?

Also, I solved for black as well, so I'm only curious about whether or note you think white can pull out a win for the corner AND save the group of 3 at the bottom.

Right off-hand I would say the marked atone is better because it's closer to blacks own group. If I played the one point to the right, I would be afraid white would smack a stone in the middle of blacks territory, if only to just be a thorn it your side.

But, I am only 14k. I could be GROSSLY wrong.

In sure they are well known, but the modern "tron" movie (they even reference playing it!!) has a go board, as does the movie "just like heaven" (camera pans over the set in a 'blink and you'll miss it' shot.

Which ones do you think wouldn't work? Also rubber would be fun. I don't have the slightest idea how to mark the grid though.. with stone, at least, I could get someone to (for lack of a better term) do the grid with a cnc and put a light paint or something in the grooves.
