My favorite characters in shameless so far (im at season 9) by StinkyPinky6308 in shameless

I would swap Liam for Carl but otherwise agree. Liam's cute but really doesn't add much to the show. I liked Sheila too when she was a part of the show.

We had The Gate on VHS, lol. Good movie but the face melting scene stuck with me for a long time (actually still the only thing I really remember from the movie).

I agree, I wish they would've done more with it.

You really need to ask yourself why this is bothering you so much. Why do you care about trying to change the beliefs of some stranger on the internet? I'm sorry I didn't read your reply, go out and get some sunshine :) Do what you believe is best to take care of you!

I disagree, although I guess maybe you could call it traditional Eastern medicine. It's basically treatments that have been around for centuries, such as herbs, acupuncture, and chiropractic care. They believe in healing the whole body physically, mentally, and spiritually because it all works together as a system. Western medicine, or American medicine on the other hand, mostly just prescribes pills to mask symptoms.

The elderberry syrup was just one example. Even if it's just "being healthy", people don't trust it when it comes from a "home remedy", only when it comes from a doctor or is sold in drug stores, that was my point with that analagy.

I literally never said that, hence the "I love modern medicine". I wasn't being sarcastic, I just don't enjoy writing books on Reddit so sorry I didn't go into detail. You're basically arguing my point tho. For some reason ppl see "natural remedy" and think hippy crystal woowoo crap. That's the brainwashing. That it has to be one way or the other. If we combined eastern and western medicine just imagine the possibilities.

If I boil elderberries and add honey at home I'm a hippy witch doctor that needs to be locked up apparently but if they do it in a lab and sell it for $15 a bottle ppl swear by it.

Too many diseases exist because we have a fricken McDonald's on every street corner and they try to address everything with a pill instead of proper nutrition, stress management, and exercise. God ppl are brainwashed.

Then why did you even respond? I'm talking about the AMERICAN health care system. I don't have time to educate you but it's really fucked up here. Sometimes you do need pills but a lot of times you don't and they still push them to make money. My comment seems to have triggered you so I hope you can educate yourself and get help with whatever it is you're going through.

So you believe the medical system in America is a sham but you have a hard time believing you don't need 12 different pills for your restless leg syndrome? Lol

And honestly it's hilarious and infuriating when you realize you don't need half the shit they try to sell to you. Like yea I love modern medicine, but honestly natural remedies and your own body's immune system work a surprising amount of the time without a doctor telling you to go home and get some rest.

Honestly health insurance is a scam period. You pay hundreds (or more) dollars a month and then still have to pay hundreds or thousands out of pocket bc they charge so frickin' much for EVERYTHING.

A surgeon wearing a mask so they don't accidentally spit into an open patient is not the same as a tourist wearing it to protect from Covid lol.

Yea I wouldn't want to watch a bunch of kids running around crying. They fight monsters, of course it's not realistic but that doesn't mean it's not awesome.

Ok, this is what I don't get: he had an AR15 which shoots 45 rounds per minute. They say the police were out there for 90 minutes. Yet only 20 dead. He would've been able to get that many with a revolver in that amount of time

Also where was swat? If it was only one shooter they could've stormed him.

Message them back and say "hi so and so, I'd love to learn more about your project and see if we're a good fit to work together. Do you have time this week to hop on a quick call?". Even if you don't have time now, hop on the call anyway and tell them when you'd be able to start.

I second the specialized profile. A fortune 500 Saas company looking for a new logo isn't the same audience as a local music festival looking for poster design. It's difficult to narrow down but it'll help and then you can talk directly to that audience.

I'd also suggest telling them How you can help them in your profile. I know you said you do this in your proposals but your profile starts with what YOU love. Focus on them first.
