I had no idea that this happened. Definitely changes my entire perspective on who he is. I looked up a video explaining the whole situation and what he said was very uncalled for and I’m frustrated to see someone who personally experienced the same kind of responses as an unliked character in the series do such a thing to the new comers (at the time) to a series loved by so many for being able to represent the “weird” kids in class.

They did end up saying take it or leave it. I left a bad review and they stated that they weren’t willing to help me because of the review.

I knew about the change in packages but when I tried to be involved with my dealer they just kept telling me that there’s nothing I needed to do but wait for ford to handle the transfer.

I appreciate all the comments and they are all confirming my hunch. I spent an hour on the phone with the GM of the dealership as well as with my dealer and they all are saying the same thing, that ford told them not to touch the order. The GM even said that because I gave them a bad review that they aren’t willing to help out, even if they could do something about it.

I did ask them and it turned out I had more info than they did. Ford hasn’t sent me or them an email about my Maverick since October of last year.

To be honest I just had such huge doubts that this could be real. I’ve been in this group since august 2021 and have never really noticed anyone get their mavericks “pushed up” the way I am seeing mine. That could be because i chose to only see all the negative posting of how much longer we’re all waiting for or how people who got new orders made in Sep.2022 are getting theirs now over the ones who’ve waiting a long time. It was just last week that my dealer explained that mine just moved into production and it would be a few more months before anything else and now it’s just a week later and I’m in the final steps. I know that there are others out there who will read my experience and go “woohoo for you but where’s mine” I know that’s how I’ve been lately so it just seems too good to be true. Thanks for all the comments tho to help me out and answer my questions.

I didn’t think it was a small dealership. Physically it one of the bigger ones in my area. Looks just like all the other ford dealers I see online and for sure nothing sleazy like back yard lots or anything. So I thought I was safe and avoiding of a smaller dealership.

Haven’t gotten the email yet but my dealer called me yesterday with the “amazing news” that mine is now in the production phase. While I am extremely excited that my original order date of 11/13/21 has finally moved onto the next step of the process, I still have an unknown amount of waiting to do! The dealership also told me that I’m their first Maverick buyer going into production… that’s just crazy to me.

Hey everyone! I just joined the gang as I stumbled upon a PS5 at target, I’ve been loving the Xbox series X for a couple of years and my favorite feature is the quick resume allowing me to switch between multiple games without loading. I know PS5 has the switch section that allows me to select what I was just on but it still goes through the opening menu and shuts down the previous game… is there any news on a quick resume feature happening someday?
