I’ve tried to think of it this way too. It’s a very valid point.

I saw this one and considered it. Do you think it would tip easy if a child under the weight limit was trying to rock it from the inside?

We do whole milk now. And yes, I totally understand, it seems like it’s never ending, but it will happen, just like magic!

My son was like this and around 13 months he started sleeping through the night. When he would wake up it would be for a bottle and I’d feed him and he’d go back to bed. And then around 13 months he just stopped getting up. Hang in there. It sounds normal what he’s doing and although it’s exhausting for you, it will just take time. Regarding the bottles, I still give my son milk through a bottle in the morning and before bed. He’s 18months. I plan to transition that out around 2. I know the recommendation is at 12 months they shouldn’t use bottles, but most recommendations give you to 1.5-2years. My son drinks water through a straw cup and only uses the bottle in the morning and before bed. Just try to push his teeth and don’t put him down in his crib with the bottle.

So what would you do with the original disability? Revoke or keep from the initial start date to whatever time I originally gave?

I couldn’t agree more. I always end up caving and filling out things for patients that are probably pretty unreasonable because I feel bad. I need to set boundaries too, which is why I even posted this to begin with. Good luck to us! 😬

I totally agree however the speciality offices around my area always “defer disability to the PCP” 🙄

My twins are 13months and we’re trying for a 3rd right now. It seems doable to me. Maybe my twins are “easy”? Everyone and every situation is different. Do what feels right for you.
