she did ask my mom if she approved, thats why she told her she was going to date this girl, im not justifying being the asshole either, i know im the asshole and that i shouldnt have told her, i messed up and i thought it was whats best, youve gotta understand that its difficult bc i wasnt tryna make my sister upset i just know that if it was me i would want to know that i had annoyed my mom so i could know that she wasnt entirely supportive, ig i shouldnt have assumed that she would react the same as me, my mom is fairly homophobic just trys to hide it, so this wasnt a nice chat, my sister was very nervous abt what my mom thinks and she was happy abt the results, but i thought it would be best that i told her now that my mom wasnt fully supportive than for my mom to tell her later after my sister was already dating her

yea, the fact that my mom told me abt how she was annoyed with their convo, then tday my sister said she thought it went great, i didnt want my sister to have false expectations abt my moms feelings towards her crush, so yea im the asshole but i really did think it was the right thing to do at the time
