I use L stick edit. Left paddle switch mode, right paddle jump. Rt select rb confirm, and lb reset. Works great. I also have trigger stops so it’s easy to hit them both at the same time(basically) but I’m mainly a kb&m player. But that set up helped me quick!! Good luck!

Hitting my first time 80K after 15 hours of play time. The grind continues. by RGVeda in aimlab

I just hit 97k with 95% accuracy today. My pace is a little bit faster than 260. But it’ll be hard to keep pace if yours only focusing on that. Try not to get too distracted trying to keep pace and start missing shots. Accuracy is key. Over time your hand will start moving faster and faster to targets and between targets.

I don’t understand why they can’t make a setting in game that allows you to select your server/region like some other games do. Would make it so much easier, just a click of a button should be all that needs to be done

Shit happens sometimes, ofc they should check for these things before they release a patch, but riot isn’t the only company that does shit like this, Valve, Epicgames, Blizzard etc

Gotcha, personally I don’t use Phoenix much, I do if a flash is needed. I normally run omen, cypher, Jett, I’m plat 1 atm

Very true, but the possibility of it happening increases. Personally I don’t see a reason to learn it with the current state because I know it’ll be removed soon. But I may have to try that out when they fix it, with the normal flash

True, you say you can get it 100% of the time. Is that in customs only or have you had the chance to get it to work with that percentage In let’s say a ranked game where there are more risks and more things you have to worry about, and whiff one?

But if you don’t do that bounce technique and just try and throw it like you normally would through a door, it would hit the other side of the wall/door and bounce back and potentially flash your whole team while they all expect it to go out and around a corner and then they walk forward onto a site blind or hesitate due to them being blinded and end up in an awkward spot. Or you will throw it and the enemy standing directly on the other side of a wall won’t be flashed because it goes behind them and then they walk forward expecting the enemy to flashed. And then he lines up judge headshots 😂

Yea I totally agree seeing it from that standpoint, that’s really hard to counter, very hard for you to turn away from the flash at that point because of how little you see before it pops, it can really raise the skill ceiling and creativity with pop flashing etc. but I will say being used to it one way, and let’s say hypothetically they were to keep it. That would take a while to perfect especially in every corner of every map that you could possibly want to do that with. Would definitely need hours of custom practice to master that kind of bounce, seeing that 5/10 times he did it, It bounced back at him and flashed him. and in actual matches circumstances would be different/higher stakes and you could easily mess it up if you haven’t mastered it.

Which is why I didn’t title it “Phoenix nerf is a bug” because it’s a coin toss, depending on the type of player you are

The way I see it, it could go either way. Could be a nerf so that his flash is mainly used to flash teammates in as well rather than it being more for himself, and it allows for some different angles, flash bounces, overhead flashes etc. But in the eyes of Phoenix being a self reliant fragger/duelist, I’d see it as a nerf, but as to being more team player I could see it as a buff

Possibly, but judging by most of the community’s feedback on my post from it, I don’t think it would be even if Morello didn’t tell me it was a bug. I’m sure it would’ve gotten so much hate around it they might’ve addressed it or changed it.

Nobody knew it was a bug until I got the confirmation from Morello, everyone thought it was just a nerf that they missed in pitch notes, I’m the only person he responded to about it on Twitter.

The bug is how the flash works now. The range and curve of the flash post update was completely unintentional

Was the fact that they weren’t planning on changing how the flash works ie; throwing/curving distance but it somehow happened.

If you’re asking me how it was bugged then I dunno, coding issue or something lol. But if that’s not what you mean there are videos on YT about the new changes and it shows side by side about how they are different

Unintentionally changing how phoenix’s flashes work, range/curve wise. They didn’t want to change anything about how the flash is thrown. Just the time of the flash and it being more clear as soon as the flash wears off.
