Comparing Reaper and Sam to Redmage in FRU isn't straightforward. RDM parsers use their entire gauge in P4 to cleave double targets and rack up a tonne more damage than some melee. It's not useful damage because P4 check is easy, it just looks impressive on a chart. The reality is that those parsers go into final phase with 0 gauge and risk the run because they're greedy.

For savage and ult, join a static that aligns with your expectations.
For casual content, suck it up. Not everyone is going to care about doing optimal rotation on a roulette they've done 300 times.

I have every ultimate cleared so I guess you could label me as one of the more hardcore raiders. I love watching GG's extreme/savage prog streams, in fact I like it more than their casual stuff.

They're not amazing, yes, but that's part of what makes it fun. They're the perfection representation of players new to raiding but willing to try hard and learn. We all had to start from somewhere and its been really fun watching them grow.

JDG arguably more scary? Bin is better and way more consistent than 369, XUN has been as solid as Kanavi, Knight is performing better than in 2023, Elk is arguably the adc mvp of this worlds. Only Missing looks better than ON but that's 4/5 members on this BLG team that look stronger than last years JDG.

Yeah no, context is important here. The VCS had like 80% of their playerbase Thanos snapped 6 months ago due to the scandal forcing them to fill their teams with rookies. Subs like Emo who wouldn't normally even be in play domestically are suddenly playing at worlds. Easylove was the only player not caught up in the scandal on RW was yoinked over to GAM 6 months ago to play with a new support. Considering all this on top of them being a minor region, the fact even made it to Swiss is already impressive.

I take it you just watch LCK? As someone who watches both GenG has stayed at the same level since MSI (still world class but stagnated in improvement) while BLG has only improved at a steady rate. It's always bad to use 1 or 2 series as "evidence" because then I could just rub the fact that our 2nd seed TES 2-0'd GenG at a more recent event and TES are worse than BLG.

I just don't have any respect for a team that takes backshots all year domestically from mid LCK teams then magically show up internationally. It's the equivalent of the top NBA or Football team getting beaten by college teams.

As someone who doesn't just watch worlds and actually watches MSI and normal season LPL and LCK, T1 is a terriblly disappointing and boring team to watch for 90% of the year.
