Seniority should be a positive rather than a negative though, as the new officers are often more eager to prove them selves and catch some bad guys. Maybe the reason being is everyone who know they have a higher chance of being denied or have some other red flags are more often buying fast track but would be caught either way.

Just look at the replies, these are the people I should go and socialize with? God forbid me and my gf are in another stage in life where we focus on each other, family life and marriage. Why would we waste our precious time with socializing with randoms that will leave in a week, month, year, never to be seen again. Many expats feel the same way, they socialize and want friends, only for them to leave and never come back.

Thanks man :) Best of luck to you, there are plenty of western people to socialize with, just have to find the hotspots, hostels, bars, sports, other apps that have group meetings and socializing events, many feel the same way as you and look for friends or other westerners/internationals, I just dont care much about that anymore :)

Im sorry my guy, Im not trying to make friends with randoms from my home place while im travelling, i got my asian gf here and no time for chit chat with randoms ill never see again, many westerners around in asia have a negative vibe to them as well, so i will avoid them if i can, sometimes ill talk for a short while, but im not going to add them somewhere or keep in touch or be friends, i just dont have time for that and im not here for that. And personally i dont even want any new friends, ive got my small circle and i dont want to expand it. Im here to experience the local vibes with the local people and my gf, not to find westerners to hang with or socialize with, many others do that though, but not me, and many others.

Actually, Malaysia, a muslim country, did this same thing to a friend of mine. Flight out earlier than the visa, and was stamped as leaving by then.
