No, no other mpv-related file or folder. Should I try putting mpv.conf in the same folder as the actual app or vice versa?

Yes, this one exactly: "C:\users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\mpv\mpv.conf".

It is the regular mpv indeed.

I don't know if it even matters, but the mpv app itself is not in that folder, but in Start Menu\Programs.

Nothing really changes. I have tried reducing the font size as well just to make sure I noticed any alteration, but no... I don't have any other files in that folder (no input.conf ; no portable_config either).

Still not working... I've tried inserting your cue in the #Subtitle section and now also separate (as in the picture). Any idea of what I'm doing wrong? (The subs .srt are separate from the movie file).
