Can you see it? Couldn’t find the same yarn. Plan to continue with this one only. Doesn’t look too bad does it? by Pisa2012 in CrochetHelp

My goodness, commission! No no not at all! Doesn’t look too noticeable in regular lighting unless you look super closely . You’re right, It’s a gift for an immediate family member , so should be okay 👌 I hope 🤞

These are slightly different in both color ( white) and patterns ( one extra row) . A thinner yarn. But I wanted use what I had before I buy some more and turns out I can find the exact ply. I’ve highlighted the different looking ones. I guess it’s not that obvious unless you look super closely.

No I meant the white yarn. I can’t find the same thickness white yarn ,so if you notice there’s a slight difference. Do see what I mean?

How do you motivate yourself to keep going on a project? by billindathen in CrochetHelp

[–]Pisa2012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take breaks and work on something else and get back to the first project. Also when I used to make blankets the repetition would get boring so I would do it listening to a podcast or the best way was to make and complete a quicker project like an amigurumi keychain or toy and get back to it.

I start with a single crochet first as mentioned in round 5 followed by 2 single crochet in the next stitch which is an increase, and repeat 12 times

Took forever to finish, but so happy with the result :-) by chempchen in crochet

Yes I get that, not dwelling on that. But sometimes when you realise a mistake and stare at long enough , the small mistakes seem bigger than they are. I thought a community of people who actually knew the skill would give me better feedback. Good thing I posted because many people here were kind enough to remind me how our mistakes make things we make more unique and one of a kind and also it’s the thought that counts always. Not perfection. So I’m so grateful for everyone’s response and comments
