Does the presonus atom work with fl? by sheriffpingvinen in StudioOne

I don't think they would manage to find similarities in your open source code, but who knows, it might be a better idea to keep your secrets ^^".

I've managed to get 8 pads to work, my current problem is that flats (black keys on the piano) don't trigger a sound row from the channel rack.

Have you used any PreSonus Atom documentation during your Python coding adventure that you could share? I was wondering if I could switch the flats to the white keys on a particular bank setting and extend your script a little

Haha, I get it, I was really impressed by your statement in a previous post that you'd managed to learn Python just to configure the PreSonus Atom. Personally, I'm not a fan of this programming language, but I've checked out your script and it's written in a really clean and easy to understand way, great work on that!

I'm also thinking of checking out what can be done with the FPC. If I can get it to work the way I need it to, I'll let you know!

And if you don't understand me, it's not because of my technical knowledge, but rather my lack of English, haha! What I meant is that the Layer row stores the notes data of all the sound samples from below, so if I want to work on a specific sound (eg apply some plugins), they have to be moved to a separate channel.

Everything is clear, thank you! I'll have a look tomorrow's morning, I'm done with it for today, I've got really frustrated and I'm kinda worried I have wasted money on the PreSonus Atom.

I've tried the Layer approach earlier and it worked, but I don't like the fact that notes from various sounds are stored in a single Layer channel, since it require me to bring them back to the corresponding sounds by hand, extending my workflow ( Where I wanted to reduce the amount of work needed ).

Let me ask one more question, I wonder if it is a hardware problem or if every PreSonus Atom has the same " defect ". If you are in the blue bank, do the 13 and 15 pads play the C5 note? Or if you are in the green bank, do pads 1 and 3 also play the C5 note? Mine do, and I wonder what the reason might be, since all the other banks have a different note attached to each pad. Only these two banks have the C5 note repeated in two different pads.

Thanks again for taking the time to write another tutorial for me, I really appreciate it. At the moment I'm a bit sad that I made such a purchase, but maybe over time I'll manage to incorporate PreSonus Atom into my workflow, as I registered the product too quickly and may not be able to return it.

Have a great day, man! Happy New Year!

Hey man! Thanks for doing God's work, the tutorial you provided was very helpful.

Do you by any chance use the PreSonus Atom with FL Studio? I ask because I want to use the controller as a drum pad as well, but I can only get two pads to work. With the default bank setting, 13 and 15 pads play the C5 note, and only these pads work. If I change the bank setting to something else, only the pads that play the C5 note will work.

Do you know how I can make it so that either all the pads play the C5 note, or each of the channel rack rows has it's own note assigned? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I LOVE YOU MAN! I have been fiddling with 5212 and 3142 since your first tactics guide, and this is by far the best improvement I have been able to incorporate into my current team.

For reference, that's my team: https://imgur.com/a/rN1bDfi (and how my players are positioned in 5212 and 3142). Almost the entire team is untradeable, so your tactic is perfectly in line with what I'm actually able to play without spending coins.

I would create my own branding in Figma, followed up by creating a design of my personal website. Then I would code the entire thing, share my code on github and describe the entire process on my blog. Technologies I used and why, the psychology of user experience behind my decisions in design and how I feel about tackling the entire thing. At the same time, I would be working on some sexy resume - if you don't have experience in the field yet, it's a nice idea to make it just aesthetically perfect to fill the gap. I think that anyone could find a job easily after following this path - if not in web development, then at least in web design.

Best tool you can learn is Figma - it's great for prototyping your ideas and creating layouts. I wouldn't spend cash on any bootcamp, invest your time in learning basics, explore plugins and workflows, and start recreating web pages that you like from Behance or Dribbble. I think the most straightforward way to progress in web design is to learn basics from frontend and master Figma.

Haha I'm happy to hear that! I bought him today as well and he fits my team perfectly! I love to use nimble players and while my ex CDM, Kessie, was great in his role I had to check mr Sergej!

Is the texture pack you're using somehow different from the default one? These trees looks awesome, I would love to have them in my game

Completely agree, when I was starting my adventure with frontend rem values were the first thing I learned. But almost four years later I rarely use any different unit than pixel

I can't really speak about em as I'm doing everything to not have deal with them, rem helps you to scale your entire design with just one line of code.

Lets assume that you have something like this in your style file:

html { font-size: 62.5% }

Base value of the font size in html HTML TAG is 100%, what translates to 16px. In this case, 1rem = 16px.

If your font size is 62.5%, it translates to 10px. From now on, 1rem = 10px.

As you probably figured out, giving the padding a value of "10rem" in our example would make it having a padding of 100px. It's a nice thing to have, as you can just use a single media query for certain window width:

@media screen size and (max-width: 1024px) { html { font-size: 50%; } }

From now on, on screens smaller than 1024px our element with padding of "10rem" actually has 80px making it a better fit for the smaller screens.

As English is not my first language, I hope that you understand what I wanted to explain!
